tech question!!!
my tranny is the old style c4 from 68 will it convert to a 89 mustang gt motor if i switched the flywheel i heard there differ splines?what would i need to convert? motor mounts? and what else?

With the correct flywheel, it should bolt right up. The splines only come into effect with the converter not the engine.

J/K, naturally Joe is correct, you'll need the corresponding flexplate and starter. If this is going into a fox body, I think there are fitment issues with the funky dipstick mounting the early case used. Other than that, you'll just need to order your parts for the correct tranny.
