just ordered the dallas speed cal.. will prolly get the gears done next weekend.. and Scott i went with your recomendation.

oh.. JMS sent my chip back.. total new map.. they made a copy from a Customers mach1 they happened to have on their dyno and did the stuff to turn off my O2's from it.. cant wait to get it on the dyno.

 

You can get RTV at discount auto or autozone or whatever. Its $3 a tube.

 

I think AE has Royal Purple. I know Mastro has Royal Purple oil, Kyle has ordered the gear oil. I just don't know if it has shown up yet.

Since they were changing the program in your chip, you should have told them about the 4.30 gears you are installing. They could have corrected your speedo for you through the chip and you would have saved money on not having to order the Speed Cal box.

 

yeah.. but so far i've had enough trouble getting a decent tune on the chip.. find out tuesday if this latest one is correct yet..

I'd rather have the speedcal as its not dependant on the chip, when the chip is out my speedo will still be correct.. (being that I'll prolly have to send the chip back again after this.. )

 

btw.. got my Royal Puple from Mastro Subaru (PM Kyle Paton on the board) for a VERY good price.. also they stock the Motocraft Friction Modifier (works great in subaru diffs aswell.. lol)..... he is gonna stock gear oil ATF and tranmission stuff aswell.. all Royal Purple..

 

ive heard really good things about allan's too, but i had mine put in at race related for aout 100 bucks cheaper.
