the donor car was on ebay for sale a while back. bad thing was it was a black on black convertible with 8 miles. what a waste.

c'mon guys you mean to tell me that given the opportunity you wouldnt want to ditch a thousand pounds from your stang? '03 cobra $30,000+ 03 focus 15,000- complete V8 swap 11,000 total price 26,000 or less. c.mon tell me that isnt a steal, even with a stock pushrod 5.0 that is gonna be wicked fast. and yes the price does include and swap out to a RWD.

And its also not like you can't get a cobra to go into the 9's either. And considering the price of the focus and the swap, getting an 03 to go 9's is reasonably priced.
Alan, I don't think he was thinking the Focus was a waste, just that the swap, especially using a brand new donor vert was the waste.

Plus, the people who did the swap in the first place probably put some insane PUSHROD motor into that Cobra.
