Default Crappy times at the track - what's next

I know my car is faster than the times I ran yesterday. I don't have the slips in front of me, but my 60 times were all in the 2.4 - 2.8 range. My best was a 2.38 and a 14.12 @108mph. I am running a 3.73 gear. I have a dyno appt. tomorrow to get the a/f measured so I can get the chip adjusted correctly. What should the next move be?

1. Drag radials
2. 3.55 gears
3. Something else?

What are the options on a locker or posi unit for the 8.8?

With that MPH you are easily a mid 12 second car. I saw you run a couple of times and it really didn't seem like you were leaving hard at all. With some tires you should do just fine.

Are you running stock exhaust? I could not even hear your car at all.

YAY, I'm not alone

I thought I was the only one with high 13 second times and 12 second mph

I left hard once, and ran a 15.1.:o All wheel spin.

I have an off road Y pipe and two straight through mufflers. I wanted to drop the exhaust, but didn't feel like bringing the tools. It gets real quiet when the turbo spools. I think I am going to drop the mufflers all together. It really doesn't need them.

Anyone got a pair of 5 lug pony wheels they want to sell?

I have a set of rims with slicks that will bolt right up to your car I'm thinking of selling. Let me know if you're interested.

The worst part was having a 4 cylinder turbo beat me.

i'd do tires, gear, then suspension................

in that order........

the gear wont work (as) well without the tires, and if you have a good suspension but a shitty gear(and or tires), then that doesnt work out well either...............
