took about 45 mins..

big thanks to Jomar for helping me set the stops.. and showing me that my tranny is ok..hehe

the tranny is very very notchy.. huge amounts of feed back.. but i need a slightly longer stick i think..

anyone got one available i can try/buy ?... just need a little more leverage..

anyone have any thoughts on that hurst T handle shifter?.. the more i thought about it on the way home.. and i even tried gripping the stock ball sort of like that.. the more that shifter made sense..

anyone know of anything similar ?

i traded mine for a stock handle and i like it 10 times better

 

Hrm, I like the Pro5.0 ball. I guess it's because I have little hands.

 

That and noise... were you able to put the stock rubber grommet and cover on it? When I had the Tri-Ax put in the guy that did it didn't put either of those two pieces back in there before putting the boot back on and the noise was deafening at times... putting those two pieces back in tends to quiet it down some.

 

yeah.. put the stock gromet (the one that bolts under that metal bit.. and the rubber cover.. i had ti cut the center section out.. but then it went right over..

i just dont like the mushy feel of the stock shifter with all that rubber on it.. i am thinking of just making my own 'extension' to the 5.0 handle
