Angry got a problem...

yesterday, my 94 gt started acting really gay. i would be driving it around and it would just die. after it dies, it's really hard to start back up and i had to push it off to the side of the road this morning and like 5 minutes later, it started right up. anyone know what would cause this? only mods are k&n and american thunder mufflers(both came with the car). any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

I used to have a wiring problem with my 95 and it would be hard to start up sometimes but it never shut off. How does it run? Does it turn over slow when trying to start it? I assume the check engine light isnt on untill it shuts off?

well i have never heard of a ignition module that went bad, then cooled off and was fine again.... everytime i have seen a module go bad the car will die, crank up again then die right back out, then just spin over with no ignition untill you replace the module.

When that happens to you rintin. Did you check for fuel pressure? or spark? maybe u have a fuel pump going out...It sounds like your loosing fuel and when it cranks back up it takes a minute to build the fuel back up for it to start.. just my .02

Yeah, need a little more details. Does it turn over and just not want to start up? My '94 used to do it all the time once I put the O/R pipe on it. If it sat for about 10 minutes after I shut it off, it was fine, but if I tried to start it right back up it was a bitch. 94-95 GT computers = shit.

I had a very similar problem one time, it was the plug that the fuel pump relay plugs into. The power wire was loose from the plug so even on big bumps, the wire would come loose and turn right off. I had also thought it was the ignition module. It wasn't. But it could be in your case.
