Sounds like a custom fabricated job to me. Looking into a twin or single setup?

I think most of the turbo kits out right now (TDC or Incon) are for EFI. Technically they could work, but you would be wasting your money on shit you don't need...and you would most likely need to rework some of the piping anyways. It would probably be easier and cheaper to go with a custom setup.

Talk to Dave. He is the resident Ford turbo guru.

real speed parts 727-590-7383, is really getting into all the custom fabrication for all that shit. they just bought a whole of piping for all the custom jobs that they do. check them out, they do real quality shit and it is all really fair and reasonablely priced. 3500 was the price for my fox. to bad that is 3500 more than i have right now.

I'seen custom Carb/turbo setups but the bonnet alone was $900:o

Think of the total cost before you undertake this project. It's not as easy as slapping a turbo on. Forced induction comes with it's own problems. Especially since that car is your daily driver. You have to build up the motor, fuel system, etc. Will you tranny handle it too?All that is alot of $$$.

Your motor has a lot of potential. Try heads and cam combo. Try another carb. Later on bore it or stroke it.

i'd concentrate on getting the car on the road first... i know it is running and all, but you need to fix what stuff it has now ...

i dont think a turbo project is good for a beginner who has limited funds... IMO
