Thats originally what I was gonna go with but they have a new clutch made by CenterForce and like I said, better than before, not as stiff of clutch pedal either

Stick with your original plan of a SPEC stage 2. Trust me and everyone else who has one, you will not be sorry. With my stage 2 the pedal pressure is a little softer than stock.

well Freeze plugs do often rust and crack and thus being the only reason I have ever heard of one breaking, its an 88 so its possible.
but if its not then its another problem to address and then its still gonna cost money to look into so its gonna get a new clutch in as far as I can see now, and as for clutch choice seing how everyone here says the Spec like I wanted before then I guess I will rechange my mind.

I just typed an essay on it, its the Freeze plug in the back of the motor as far as I know(1 of them anyway)
