Just because you both had pony cars and you both are modded and you both hammered it and were racing doesn't mean the race was fair!! The LS1 was BLACK... so naturally he was worried about swirl marks in his paint. Do you have any idea how bad swirl marks look on a black car?!?! :o

The mods you mentioned probably netted him 30rwhp over stock.. Depending on the year that could have been between 325rwhp and 360rwhp.. Our cars are already heavy and you said he had a passenger.. By your own admission you were behind him and most likely drafting and we all know that you can sling shot past someone post drafting..
From the story you told this car did not have a cam in it.. If you want to race a modded LS1 you need to run Dan aka Juiced

Did you see the part where I said he mentioned he had other things but we got cut short on time ? From my 15+ years experience in racing, most people tend to downplay what they have after they get beat. My guess is if he is running this aftermarket program (LS1 Edit) he has more than simple bolt-ons. None the less this was not my point.And drafting, you are joking right ?
Maybe if we were going 150 m.p.h. but damb sure not through 1st or 2nd gears.Thanks for making excuses for a car that you have never seen, I am sure he missed a gear too. So he is heavier and had a passenger but since you brought this up I was hauling my track gear from the last track day (jack, toolbox, slicks). However I would not have used this as a excuse if I lost. He also proably makes 75+ more h.p. than I do but who is counting right ?
And look, all of the other GM guys were being nice to me for once.

I was being nice as well.. There are some pretty much stock LS1's on this board that has ls1edit done.. Good Kill anyway..
