Default converting to the darkside

Alright....I've been thinking of selling my car and what car I'd want to get after it, and after picking up a few ford magazines, the decision is between a mustang GT or eclipse GST.....I wanted to know are there any sites where I can learn about mustangs and all the terminology....it just pisses me off when I see something put on a mustang that adds 50hp that when put on an import (ie my integra) gives it only about 3... ....so I've been trying to read up and its like a whole diferent world...also if any of you know where some nice mustangs meet up...I might want to drop by and look and maybe get some rides if possible...I'd want to go supercharger or turbo...but don't know the pros/cons......sorry this post is pretty vague....I'm new to the "domestic scene"...so bear w/ me!

Mustang Gt or a GST i am sorry i read that u just compared these two cars i think i am gonna cry now what do u want a older 5.0 or a 4.6 do u want a new body style or a SN95 or a fox body. I would go with a supercharger over a turbo on mustangs their are just not as many that have turbo's and if u have problems that is less places to turn to also the turbo kits seem to cost alot more. I can tell that with boost eighter way if it is tuned right u can get some fairly good gas milage out of them. cons is heat if u have compressed air u will get more heat but this is not a big issue and can be fixed with a inter/aftercooler or if dont run to much boost. Also superchargers dont get as hot as turbos eighter. Some people dont like the wine u get from most superchargers but there are quite ones u can buy as well. If u have any questions this is a good site just ask.

After feeling the torque and hearing the sound of the mustang you will forget all about the eclipse and your honda.

i'd get the stang.......

more bang for the buck than just about anything out there, and lots of parts/ options/ routes you can go .....

lots of used parts available too....

some terms are:

stang = mustang

LCA = lower control arm

FRP = fuel pressure regulator

mullet = you the stang owner!

I love my mustangs. Easy to make HP and lots of ways to do it.

I like the twin trubo setup my self. I can not wait to bolt these bad boys on.

"OB1 has taught u well" "Come to the darkside" If your hearts content on getting a GT either get a 99+ or a 93 or older coupe. The 99's have better heads than 96-98 yrs. The 93 and older is called "fox body" so they are light cars. I bench press some of them before work in the morning. A coupe with a nicely built 302 will be nice ride. Remember u can always swap out motors aswell if u want more cubes. No car has the aftermarket like a mustang and it never will. Parts are endless. Good luck. Feel free to ask a question. Oh IMO corral.net is the best site for info. -Mark
