If they do have a harder input/output shaft I'm sure it isn't gonna matter on a setup like yours(lighter car, no high rpm launches). I think a regular TKO would be good for low 10's. Maybe more if you decide to go w/ FI. -Mark

I think Scott is just thinking like I do. The price difference between the 1 and 2 is fairly insignificant (considering the cost of the 1) so why not get the stronger one and never have to worry about it. Plus the resale value will be there with the 2 as well.

its been a while since I've been interested in Tremec's, but I believe the input shaft is bigger ("Hemi" style Chrysler) as well as the output shaft (Turbo 400GM) and maybe some internal differences. As far as I know they all use the same gear ratio's.
