Ford HD upper control arms?

I know the desrip the in catalog says twice as stiff bushings, but nothing about metal itself. Is it thicker or is it all in the bushings? MM recommends the Ford HD uppers for most of the their stuff. But the steedas seem very nice for the price, they are way thicker metal and are boxed and got the ureathane as opposed to the rubber that the Fords have. But MM says the rubber is better for street and road coursing.
Any ideas?

The Steeda ones are a better choice than the heavy duty Ford's. They use the same rubber as the Ford uppers, but like you said, they are boxed in which will make them less likely to flex.

Or just get good poly bushings for your stock ones and box them. A boxed upper is very stiff by itself, it doesn't really matter if its thicker metal. Anyone that can weld can box a stock upper too. Did I mention I can weld

. WEll MM say that uratheane cause suspension bind on the curves. But I just found a sweet deal on the corral for a complete setup for $140, might just go that way
