Yeah I hope that 13.9 didn't come from a supercharged 360hp Saleen!!! That definately sounds more like a GT.

Actually, that looks as good as any other Saleen to me. But then, I'm less than enamoured with tuner cars. IMHO they are all way over priced and way overdone. Frankly, I usually consider them rice since the performance returns for the price is minimal. I'm much more impressed with something like David99gt's car than a tuner...plus his car looks better and will kick the crap out of 99% of the tuners too.

Heh, to add to my sour grapes I came from the era when the real live street rods were roaming around and had the flames on them. I didn'l like the flames then and I still don't. I prefer an ass kicking car as close to stock looking as you can get. Other than the fats and skinnies on my car, which were a necessity and not for looks, I had a pillar gauge with a small boost gauge in it and a small fuel pressure gauge. And Dan at Idlewild had to throw me to the floor and put his foot on my neck to get me to do that. Otherwise, I was pretty much stock looking. But if I was all that concerned with looks, I would have painted that damn bumper cover, don't ya know.

OTOH, what looks good is a purely personal thing. But, sometimes, there's just no accounting for bad taste.

:end of mindless rambling:
