So Which Combo Would You Do ?
If you have the money, and want to make the car fast, a power adder is gonna be the easiest way to go. Now, with that said, make it N/A. I have a lot more respect for someone who can make a car run fast with less. How hard is it to bolt a blower or nitrous on. I'm not saying my car is by any means the fastest car out there, but I love going to the track and out running someone with a blower, a turbo, nitrous or more cubic inches than I have. Like Derek said, I'm shooting for 10.90's. Hopefully after a gear change and a few little adjustments, I'll reach my goal.
Go for the blower. If you are not class racing, the only thing that counts is the end result. If you have to put that little qualifier on the end of your stories..."yeah, but that's without a power adder"...that only means you're not giving yourself the respect that you want from others. Besides, everything is a power adder. Ported aluminum heads are a power adder, a stroker is a power adder, a bigger cam is a power adder...you get the picture. If you're slower than someone else with a similar car, it's probably because he has added more power.
Joe's cool and has a lot of work in his car...but I'm still faster, or was. Plus...he's got a lot of work in my car too.
OTOH, Derek's cool too, and has a lot of work in his car and he's faster than me. (This actually makes Joe much cooler in my book
if you know what I mean)
Aw, hell. It all boils down to go as fast as you can whatever it takes as long as you're not constrained by class rules.

ATI ProCharger w/ 3 core Intercooler!
The sound is addicting, the power is awesome, and you don't see many Mustangs with Front mount intercoolers running around.
For me, I like the streetability of superchargers and turbo setups, but i'm also a boost nut. I don't care if it is the "cheating" way to go fast, the bottom line is you ARE going to go fast with either setup (tuned accordingly, etc, of course).
Bottom line you're going to have to decide for yourself, but if it was me i would skip right over the 11's and shoot straight for 10's.

it seems about 50 50 split to me so far lol however im a sucker for all motor cars i just love them so my opinion goes there. to know that your car runs what it runs because of how well it is built and not how much air it is forcing in to the motor is awesome. turbo or super charger lets go then uh oh you have a slow car however all motor is all motor nothing changes as long as you dont blow it up.

Just look at it this way. You will never be able to get as much explosive mix in each cylinder if you go NA as compared to FI.
