Suspension Advice
I need advice from people who have played around with Fox suspension. I have upper and lower arms and subframes. Right now I'm debating between 90/10 and 70/30 for the front, some people have gotten a lot of floating from the 90/10's
and definitely 50/50 for back(drag radials). Thought about traction bars too. Don't care that much about handling,(although body roll sucks), wanna get the rear to hook up better
I wanna a spend around $500
So if there are certain brands that you liked, or you've had had good experiences with certain products - post away.

I ran around with stock struts/shocks and no sway bar and got ALOT of body roll. Even 70/30's will roll around on you. I could drive it normally around corners, but I wouldn't go autocrossing with it. As far as traction devices, can't go wrong with Southsides. Alot of people recommend Maximum Motorsports or UPR or whatever, but I can't see what type of improvement can be had with a stock length bar (maybe Derek or Joe can elaborate on this). The southside changes the intersect points which greatly helps tracion.

Ahh one of my favorite Mustang topics.
Get the Southsides for sure, tons of help for traction.
Then get a set of cheap gas Monroe shocks from Discount for about $10 a shock. They are nice and loose. I had trouble with the 50/50 rears because my car is so light.
The sway bar needs to go in the front if you want optimal traction. This will greatly effect handling. After that the 70/30's should be more thsn enough for your car,
What kind of upper and lower arms do you have ?

ok.
just so you know what I run...
lakewood 90/10s up front 50/50s in the rear (CE 3 way adjustables)
trick springs up front cut to the desired length
normal 8 cyl springs in the rear.
i've gotten consistent 1.39, 1.40 60' times with this combo.
i've got CE lowers and single adjustable uppers..
all of the lowers function the same, although as Dave stated with the SS bars changing the intersect points, you have to be carefull. Plant the tires too hard and you'll end up unloading the suspension and you'll just go up in smoke...
probably going to be looking to get rid of the 90/10s and 50/50s as I will be going to adjustables all the way around..

Don't know what brand, bought'em with the car, don't think they're adjustable.

Watch any type of solid bushing control arm, be it either the uppers or lowers, if you drive the car on the street a lot. You will need to keep them greased and after time, the bushings will eventually wear out. You might want to look into something with some poly bushings like the Mega Bite Jr's. My short times were 1.51 with these. If you are looking for a lot of traction, get some 90/10's and chuck the whole 70/30 idea to the weeds. In my opinion they aren't worth wasting money on. Like Derek said, keep an eye on your pinion angle. It can hurt just as much as help. It all depends on where you have it set.
