Question Rocker Ratios

A friend of mine was telling me he put 1.7RR on the intake side and 1.6RR on the exhaust side. What are (if any) the benefits from doing this?

I wasnt sure on the purpose behind it. So you would recommend doing that to a street motor? I would think not.

Thanx for the advice guys. Im thinking about a doing a carbed 302 for my motor swap. Just have to get a T5 and 8.8 along with some fual mods.

I still have my 95 Gt i am try to part with. The t5 needs work though and so does the motor but it does run if u are interested in it or something from it let me know.

also, have a t-5 that is ready for sale as well $350.

Joe (T/S 25 from Fordspeed) has a full setup that he's selling, give him a call as well if you are interested.

I think Joe is selling GT40P or X heads for $900. Thats just to much money for my to spend right now on just heads. I was looking to spend that much on a stock motor. What kind of condition is your T5 in? Is it stock?

Actually that was another set of heads I was selling and it came with rocker arms, pushrods and a camshaft for $900. I now have the engine out of my car up for sale. I am in the process of building a new one for this season and need to get rid of all the old stuff I have. I also have the complete T-5 set-up for sale too. Complete with clutch, Pro-5.0 shifter, Accufab cable, flywheel, etc as well as an 86-97 off-road H-pipe. Give me a call if I can help you out with anything.
