I have seen many great tributes to Peter Brock and have been meaning for some time to put together one of my own, and here it is finally. Yes, my blood runs blue, I am a die hard Ford fan, but Peter did what no other driver has ever been able to do - he brought together Holden and Ford fans, united in grief at his loss. Please feel free to rate and comment but derogatory comments will be deleted immediately so don't bother.

I had thought this was already up on YouTube but it appears not. So in response to those who want to see it once again here is our special interview show with Brocky recorded on the eve of him leaving for The Goodwood Revival. Less than 2 weeks later he was gone, killed in a crash while competing in the Targa West Tarmac Rally in Western Australia.
To this day it's hard to watch this without feeling so sad, and also wondering just what Brock would be doing now. It'd be something pretty exciting I would imagine.
Sorry about the quality but it was encoded as a podcast back when podcasts were really small.

Peter Brock is known by many as "King of the Mountain' and one of the best racing drivers Australia has seen.
After his tragic death in 2006 a large proportion of the 194,000 race spectators also came to say farewell to him. In doing so they decorated the safety wall at the top of the mountain with thousands of farewell messages.
