Just like the topic says. I moved to Tampa recently and am looking for a few local shops to price a t5 rebuild. I'm thinking about doing it myself, just figured if it was a few hundred more for a reputable shop to do it might as well give local shop business. I will pull and install trans myself. I did a 5 speed swap on the 91 ssp car I have so I know how to install and remove the trans no problem. The trans drives in all gears including reverse, just needs to be freshened up. Just wanting to do this before I start tearing the motor down to do the head gaskets, that way once I get it back together I can actually just drive the car.
