In case the car was a failure? Man, they have to realize that the names aren't killing the cars, they are killing the cars names with engineering most third world countries would be ashamed of.
RIP Impala
RIP Malibu
RIP Camaro
RIP Riveria
RIP Nova
and the list goes on and on....
Hmmmm, that makes you wonder. How many cars has Ford vanished off their assembly line?
Maverick, Bronco, Pinto, Fiesta, Probe, Falcon,....tons of others.

Looks like your list is down to just a couple now after the two posts above this one cleared thiings up for you.

I can think of far more GM models that have been killed in recent memory than Ford models. Maybe we should start a separate thread naming all of them.
Not trying to make this into a debate. I was just wondering. Europe's got some bad ass Ford cars that we don't have here. Guess European's are more risk takers. If anyone has seen "Getaway in Stockholm 3" you'd know what I was talking about.

The difference is that for the most part, GM castrated and humiliated most of their legendary names before killing them off.

And as a side note, remember the Dodge Challengers in the 80's? I think I beat one with my go-kart back in the day.
