Default New best at BR track day

here we go my most perfect pass ever in my slow mustang with stock exhaust(ok it has a h-pipe)

R/T .612
60/ft 1.788 (5700rpm lauch on DR)
1/8th 8.207
MPH 82.36
1/4 12.987
MPH 102.42

so im kinda happy about that pass but i might be out next week with a full bottle at the track.but now time for some headers and a tune and looking for 12.8 N/A

to hell with 12.8, go for 12.6 . Have you heard of a guy on stangnet who goes by Mustang92? Guy's name is Bill Putnam, has run a 12.6 N/A . You should check out his mod list, you have a strong car.

a strong car would be mine, ehh he! 13.9 at 98 mph with Mac Headers, Crank UnderDrive pulley and H pipe, thats it, I run sick times for stock ish haha.

Here is the list of my mods-4:10 gear,mac T/A girdle,Mac lCA,Mac adj Uca,Stock clutch,C@L 80MM mass air,no head light,upr shifter,Nitto555R's,No sway bar,Gutted stock H-pipe,White hood,Intake spacer,Tr6 plugs .35,steeda quad shocks and i think thats about it.I mostly can't believe my 1/8th mile time.but hey who needs a cobra when you can drive the piss out of a GT j/k.Yeah i have heard about that guy named Mustang92 but he has way more mods than i do i don't know i think i just got a lucky pass or the track was preaped very very well.I think it was that the track was preped well because i was launching very very high for having a 275/40/17 nitto on the car.i wish i had spray because im sure the car would have done 11's with the way the track was hooken.I should be a driver for MM@FF but none the less i am very happy with the car right now and have no plans for any mods right now yeah right

Seriously, that 13.9@98mph isn't bad at all for a stockish old 5.0

I had run a 14.3@97.5mph and all I had done was crank &WP pulley, K&N, short shifter.

But those times out of that 2V GT are awesome!!

Yeah that does sound like a good as time for a 5.0 with such lil mods.what kind of 60/ft did ya cut? my best time bone stock with no head light was 13.6 at 101 on DR

My 60 was a crappy 2.222. It's not going to get much better then that with the 2.73's on it. I've heard of people cutting 2.0's with 2.73's but that's with feathering the clutch and trying to get it perfect. I don't feel like killing the clutch right now. lol

I'm interested to see what the guy who got the 13.9 cut for a 60.
