Robert (BackinBlack) lost a grandson today. Please go pay your respects on the thread above. I know we've all had our differences between groups, but he's still a grieving grandfather.

Please note that if ANYONE turns this into a bitch session, flame session, or personal attack, I WILL see to it that they get their ass beat, whether by me or someone else. Lets please keep this civil.

Derek, you being a new father I'm sure can appreciate the situation more than me and many others. I don't have kids and I dont' see how someone could live through this

Knowing how much I love my son. the thought of going through this brings tears to my eyes. I can only imagine the pain they're going through.. On top of it all, my wife works @ All Children's hospital (Surgical Intensive Care Unit) and she brings home some very sad stories sometimes, although there are happy ones in there every once in a while..
Have to go hold my son now....

Truly sad.

I look at my kids and can not imagine something awful happening to them. I would not be able to get through life without them. It is something that can not be explained until you have children.

Sorry to hear about his loss. Frances works at All Children's as well, but on the Oncology floor. I've heard her stories and been to the funeral of one of her patients.
