How would I know if my O2s are bad? Would the CE light come on? Also, what are some symptoms of bad O2s? Thanx.

 

I may be mistaken... but I think that once the O2 sensors are whacked, the check engine light will come on.

 

Im having the same problem in my maxima, my front left and right heated O2 sensors both are fucked there $80 a piece at discount. I have a check engine light, plus my car is running like shit. It bogs off the line, and top end is dead.

 

What make me think Ive got bad O2s is my MPT. I get about 200-230mpt. And its a lightly modded V6.

 

Check your computer codes. The computer will know if the O2 outputs are out of whack throw a code for it.

You can also hook up a meter to the O2 sensor leads and see if they are outputting the correct voltage.
