yup after 2 months of not having a car I have finally purchased another. IT's a '97 cobra black on black with 48k miles, and it's bone stock (for a little while).

He needs to take a close look at those front brakes. The biggest turnoff about that car was the excessive rust in the front caliper area. The usually black 2-piston caliper was silver, and the support bracket and all the bits&pieces around it had a heavy coat of rust. Makes me think the front end may have taken a dip in some water for an extended period of time.

I'm not ragging on your car in any way, but you really need to get a qualified mechanic to check that car over with a fine tooth comb. Flooded cars are no laughing matter...especially if it took a dunk in salt/brackish water.
