Back in the day
Wow, this used to be a very busy site. I haven't been on TR since I moved up north but thought I would check in and see what's going on ? Looks dead..I quess everybody has kinda moved on. Well thought I say hello but I don't see alot of activity going on the threads, Hope everybody has a great Christmas and good health..

Life has changed for some of us, but the bigger issue seems to be social media. People log into FB to talk with their friends. There you don't have to worry about anyone reading their comments and then having some stranger rip you because you use CAPS, didn't use punctuation, or some "TROLL" calling you a moron because you didn't think before you asked something. It happens to all of us, but new guys don't stay around after the Keyboard Mafia hammers them down.
I feel we are like the GPS... Technology has changed the rules and most change with it. They have just moved to the latest thing.
However, us OldGuys are still here....

yep site just died, but so did a lot of car forums. Seems the car hobbyist is a dying breed as the shows, meets and races seem to be just in a state of decline.

the meets,races still go on all the time you just got to know the right people.when we go out we dont like all the ricers to come out cause they fuck shit up

yeah Chad local meets I know about, the guys on Mafia still try, I'm talking about some of the big national meets. The grandstands are just empty, its not bad when I go buy myself or friends but if you want to bring the wife and kids its a small fortune. Just like spectating at some of the local tracks, I just want to come in maybe say hi to a few friends, hangout a bit and then go home. Too expensive on a regular basis.
