hey i need some help i just got a 93 lx coupe(very happy) and i am gonna buy some rear suspension upgrades for it. but there is so many to go with i dont know which one to choose. i want it hook hard cause im tired of spin. i have 90/10's front, 70/30 rear, an air bag in the pass rear spring, and polyurethane bushings so far but i wanna upgrade the control arms and add subframe connectors. also how are SSM lift bars? any good. any info is appreciated.

Don't bother with the Lakewood rear shocks. Either keep the worn out factory ones on the car or go with tthe Strange adjustables.
The SSM bars are great. I have had them since 1992 and I have always had much better than average 60ft. times.
Go with some adjustable uppers so you can get the car to track straight.
Definitley get welded in subframe connectors and get the rear upper control arm housings welded up. This will keep the car from twisting.
The 90/10 's will work well but will drive shitty on the road.
Remove the front sway bar.

adjustable rear shocks help, as do adjustable fronts.. but you stated you already have a set..
Strange is making a set of 10 way adjustables for $110 now, might find them on my ride next year, see if I can keep those front wheels closer to the ground..
double adjustable UCA's are a nice thing to have as well, more flexibility for adjusting the pinion angle while on the car.
SSM lift bars are ok, Competition engineering makes a nice set as well, or you can get some with the adjustable spring perch that will allow you further adjustability...

HPM Mega Bite Jr adjustable LCA's hook quite nicely with a set of 50/50's and an airbag.
Getting rid of the factory 4-link and going with the torque arm/panhard setup is better for traction in the corners, and is supposedly better for straight line traction as well.

Any control arm that has solid bushings is very hard on the torgue boxes if you drive the car every day on the street. The solid bushings also have a tendency to wear out. I have a set of the Mega Bite Jr.'s on my car. They have 2 different settings and work real well. My short times are usually 1.56-1.57 with a best a 1.53 down at Bradenton.
