gears would be nice, but thats like $400 or so, half way to a set of heads.

You can buy my fuel rail and FPR from a SN95. Get some more gas in there and then spray that puppy. Couldn't hurt to borrow some slicks.

The gears should do more to improve your time than the heads will.

If he gets traction. my 3.73's + BFG's on a little more stout setup than he has now netted me lots of tire smoke. But, I could pull 5th gear unlike the stock gears would do.

Pullies - can find a good used set on ebay for $50-75, Short belt - bypass smog and power steering - definitely makes a difference, FREEZE the intake alot before the run, Might be able to find a cheap electric fan.

Practice the perfect launch and out drive the dude!!
