Well,

It's got no motor at the moment but that's only for a few days till I get the 302 from my friend. It use to have a 351 windsor in it but he took it out and put it in his bronco. So the car was pretty much no use after that. But heres what I got. I got 2 trannies one A0D.and a C4. Along with a rolling chassie with no rust but one minor dent on the passenger side door. The best thing about it though it was free. It did have a b&m shift in it along with a 6inch cowl. But the kid that bought the car before I could get the money from my mom took it to but it his firebird,why I don't know he's an idiot. So after that he like well you can have the car cause I don't need it. But it's all gravy hopefully someone on these forums has a B&M shift laying around there garage or is wiling to trade for a tranney maybe ? Well anyway I wanted to share with my other stang friends my new and hopefully for atleats a year or two final car. But here's the new good news,I might not have to settle for a 302. My moms B/F has a old ford pickup with a 351 MODIFIED. I know it's simaler to the 351 windsor but can you guys tell me anymore about this engine ?

 

351 M's are the bastard child of the 351 line. You would be much better off with the 302. Plus, I don't think your tranny's will fit. IIRC, the M's have a different bolt pattern.

 

Like Tony said, don't mess with the Modified. You'd be better off sticking with the 302.

I really hate being poor... . And trust me I'm not jst saying that because I'm exagurating about how hard it is right now. Ok so I got the project and was all excited about it and everything. BUt there's one problem now. We might be having to move again. But it's like if we do we're not sure where since it's just me my bro and my mom. She's working but it aint generating enough money. And me working is out of the auestion being it is how they are not hiring at 15 and people are being lade off as it is. I realy don't wont this car to go to the junk yard. I'm lucky I haven't started to put money in it. I would keep it but I have no where to store it . I have a friend in winter garden but it's way across town like an hour from me so taking the bus there and back would be monney within it self. And whos to sya the might get tired of migh get hassled by in being one of there garages. But the main thing is I don't have any money. I would try to hold on to it but you know what mom says goes and atleats I can say I tried eventhough its only been like a week. But our land lord in our park is snooping around our trailer again and when she sees it it's just gonna be towed wich will make it a even biger waste. So I'm just telling my fellow stang guys whats up. so if either of you guys could use a extra tranny of wanna built a second drag car then you can get at me at :

Well I'm glad someones looking to put it in good hands. I will get you pictures as soon as I get home tommorow. Since it's dark out now and my digital camera does not have a flash(don't ask). So as soon as I figure out how to post pics on this thing after I take pictures of the car.

Well here's those pics. The car is sitting a litle funny cause well it does have NO motor in it. If any of you guys can find it in your hearts to give it a good home then cool. I jsut don't want it to go to the junk yard !

The car is being kept under a car cover to insure it stays protected.
