The mentality of these SVT folk is quite interesting. They seem to think that the $18k price tag for a Focus with a SVT emblem on the back makes the car vastly superior to most. They can't seem to cope with the fact that magazines rate other cars higher than the all mighty SVT. The owners rant and rave about how great there car is, yet there are tons of threads dedicated to problems they are having with their cars (i.e. cam seals leaking, quality problems, blown transmissions, blown motors, clutch blown through bell housing, etc.).

I was just reading through the board and that just struck me as amusing.

 

I don't know if I told you about the guy I work with that bought one, well when I was putting on his CAI we found penut shells on top of the block. i know it wasn't i nthe shop so it came from the factory like that. Talk about quality.

 

I'm still looking for an empty bottle of tequila left in my car by the factory. I am absolutely convinced that those fuckers were drunk when they assembled my car.

My car had an SVT badge and snakes on it when I bought it. I took 'em off and it's much faster now.
