sounds like the weep hole in your water pump. is it constantly leaking?

i would replace the water pump it sounds like the weep hole. after time the bearing goes out in the pump and it has a hole in it to let you know that it has gone bad by leaking water not alot but enough to notice. it is showing underneath the pump right?

never did it on a 95 did a couple on my fox's. if its pretty much the same motor all you do it take the belt off and the fan and the fan shrould and you can get to it pretty easily.

well thanks for the info. just picked the car up about a month ago after wrecking my cobra. car has 198k on it and cosmeticly is very nice but i could tell the previous owner was not that mechanically inclined because there has been a few minor problems that he didnt or couldnt fix that was something simple as a loose wire. work in progress is all i can say.

be sure to put the belt on the right way. if you reverse it your car will over heat.
