ADVICE NEEDED
I haven't heard too much good about the ATI stuff but only good stuff about Vortech and Paxton. I've got a Vortech S-Trim on my '91 coupe and am just shickled titless with it.. Just be aware that to get the best results - and by that I mean good performance and safety - you're going to have to upgrade some other stuff too, like suspension and fuel systems.
My motor has GT-40 intake upper polished lower ported w/mild p&p heads with high rate springs E-303 cam 80mm throtle body w/ a maching pro-m mas air an msd ignition a ford motorsport rear w/3.73's and cobra chip it,s also got an art carr tranny the motor has like 55k
every one keeps saying vortec or paxton ......
correct me if i'm wrong but didnt the two companies merge like a year ago.....
so aren't they the same manufacturer ?????

Same ownership, but they build and design things individually.
Get the Vortech, you can't go wrong.
ATI/Procharger will have some modifications that you will have to do to install it. You may also have to buy some hose, fittings, etc. That they sometimes don't supply.
The Vortech kit is complete. You can get a base Vortech A-trim for real cheap and then send the head unit back and upgrade to an S-trim later on.
