Default Got a new best at BMP on Sat with my 01 Cobra.

Hey all went BMP Sat morning to run my 01 cobra. I was looking to run 12.3 to 12.4. Ran the car 3 times. Here was my best.

60 foot 1.89
1/8 mile 8.03 at 87.65
1/4 mile 12.51 at 109.98

The air was killer. On the last pass I had my best 60 foot time of a 1.80 but when I went for second the car kind of shut off then took off. If this run would have gone good the car would have gone 12.3-12.4. The only engine mode is a k+n. Saw Fordman out there but did not know it to the very end. His car runs hard and was the cleanest fox body mustang out there. I think with a better 60 time I will have one of the fastest non bolt on N/A cobra's in the US.

Nice times. Where those 15" or 17" DR's? I'm kinda confused about the non bolt-on quote. By looking your sig aren't those mods considered as a bolt-on? -Mark

The engine itself has nothing from the mainfolds up. Yes there is a k+n but I pull it for track duty. I do of course have a h-pipe,gears and boxed uppers. I also pull the sway-bar and run skinnies up front. The point was the engine has nothing the rest of the car is another story. I am running 15 in dg radials. With a lower 60 and this same setup the car will run 12.3 to 12.4.
