Default Hmmmmm...noticed something interesting

Went by the Ford dealer today to take a look at the Mustangs again, and I noticed something cool about the 2003 V6. They now come with the old 99-01 Cobra hood! I definately like it better than the big chunky looking hood scoop that is on the GT. Hopefully this hood will find its way on the GT as well.

Another "left over" Cobra part to find its way to the GT is the 2001 polished Cobra wheels (minus SVT center cap). I still like the standard GT rims better, but it is just interesting to see how Ford is getting rid of the spare Cobra parts sitting around.

Never noticed the hood, but saw the wheels in the Mustang brochure. Time to look at that little book again. Most of the new Foci (it's random) have a dark grey plastic coloring inside the headlights now. Looks like they forgot to chrome the pieces rather than an intentional process. They also get a nifty new shift knob with a silver insert.

The thought had crossed my mind. I wonder if Ford has finally fixed that head gasket issue on the 3.8...and just how strong is the stock bottom end? Is there a Griggs suspension setup for the V6?

The V6 would make for a nice little auto-xer, plus it could save me some dinero on insurance.

They fixed the headgasket blowing problem, but they still have nasty asss weak rods and piss poor bottom end. A fine stroker kit should fix that.

the only problem on the gaskets were in 94-95 (trust me i know). get a 94+ car and put a 4.2 block in it and 99+ heads/intake and then some boost. if thats the way you wanna go.
