Hey everyone, over the weekend my dad and I went to the nostalgic drags at BMP. I know most of you guys are pretty young (hell, I'm not that old), but you should go next year. Its definitely not boring. They had a bunch of old funny cars there, a twin hemi supercharged rail, and a bunch of old alky and nitro altereds, not to mention probably a hundred other pre 74 muscle cars from stock to pro-mod. I snapped a bunch of video's and pics, but I'll post a couple of the better cars seen.

This car is definitely big pimpin

Check out the interior, it was stock green cloth, but the back seat was removed, and the cage was painted to match. The car didn't race, but it had a big block in it (with A/C) so it was not a poser.

This was an awesome old car. It had a participant sticker from the 1965 US Nationals :o . I asked the guy if it really has been a race car that long, and he said even longer. The car ran mid 12's, which isn't bad for as old as the technology is (no offense Scott
) BTW, the car was a stick

Now this is a badass car. Its actually a fiberglass body on a built chassis. The body was painted in aqua toner (what body shops use to custom blend colors) but was not clear coated. This resulted in a flat aqua appearance. Notice the blown big block for motivation
