Default more problems.... again

so at tires plus i established that my right control arm is shot, and my alignment is off, but that was a month ago. as of a few weeks my right rear axel/brake/ wheel or whatever as been making a grinding type of sound and i am baffled at where its coming from. any ideas? it also looks like my left rear is sticking out a little farther than the right as well

I would have to see it in person. If the axle is actually sticking out, there is a deeper issue than just your brakes. PM me your addy and I'll come over on Sunday and check it out a little closer.

he told me that its very worn out, to the point where that side is the lowest the suspension can go (my car already has lowering springs so its pretty low)

First thing first , forget about whatever tire plus told you and take it to a real shop with a good rep. Find out what is really wrong if the suspension is tweaked that bad

Just went to his house and looked at his car. The right rear brake is metal to metal. (hence the "grinding noise) I told him I could replace the rotor, and do pads on both sides along with a caliper slide service for $100 plus parts. Parts were $50 for the less expensive pads.

And I could do it today.

He told me he didn't have the money. He told me he had the $50 for the parts, plus about $30 more. :S

He also said his dad told him to find out how much it was at Tires plus. Tires plus told him it STARTED at $159, but they would have to have it there.

So, I told him that if he wanted me to do it, I was just a phone call away.

As for the suspension issue, it is blown bushings in the rear causing it to sit funky.

Nice kid, but no way am I going to do a brake job on anyone's car, at their house, for $30. He seemed to be understanding, and was honestly restricted by his parents and money. (I don't think his dad would loan him the money to pay me)

Thanks I really appreciate that, if I had the money i would have done it right then and there. I think I'm going to grab some brake pads and put them on for a temp fix until i can gather enough money to get the real deal done.
