2000 ford explorer 5.0 302 shortblock for my foxbody question.
I have bad rings in my current 302 in my daily driver and i was just about to jump on a deal for said motor and i told my dad (racinrick) about it and he said that it might not be an HO motor in that year. anyone know if it is or not?

It has the H.O. Firing order but the cam in it is more for TQ than HP. I'd just use the short block and swap everything else over from your exiting engine.
