hi ford tech!
hello fellow ford owners! now i dont have a mustange or anything but i drive a ford ranger. its kinda fast i guess with the 4.0 motor, i make lil' hondas look stupid...! jus figured id say hi ill probably be here alot- does anyone else have a ranger? i guess im looking for help cause im going the performance route with it. anyways just wanted to say hi.

The 4.0 can be made strong with some bolt-on's to include a BBK Root's Supercharger or the Vortech kit. I have a 94 4.0 and started some mods before I got the Stang. Go to www.rangerpowersports.com and check out the forums. There is a 4.0 forum that can give you loads of information on mods. Also check out the ford ranger club forums and go to the Florida forum and click the "Team Tampa" link. We tried to start a truck club about a year ago, but most of the original crew has either left or sold their trucks. Still a few around looking to meet and look up a "Jay Gecko". His truck is sick with a explorer front end conversion. Good luck and enjoy the 4.0 .
