So I see people typically talking about car meets in the local section and it intrigues me.

I've personally never brought one of my own cars to show off at a car meet let alone been to many than a hand full, but from what I most car meets organized and associated with this forum seem to be full of all ricers. I dont necessarily dislike imports, but I do dislike "untastefully" modded cars which seems to most fall in the regions of import owners.

I'm always insterested in chillin with fellow car enthusiats and throwin down a drink or two, but not really sure if to bother with most of what goes on around the Pinellas area.

So what I'm curious is to know, do any of you ford owners actually go to any of these meets? It'd be nice to actually show up to a meet where everyone isn't 17 with some trashy car walkin around like their king kong, because I would clearly have to introduce myself to them .

P.S. I saw an old dead thread about ford car meets that seem to never really have gotten anywhere. Anyone around the pinellas/oldsmar/palm harbor area that knows of the down low feel free to PM me.

 

we have a mustang meet in brandon behind sweet tomatoes every saturday night around 8.

 

quaker state and lube 49th street and ? south of 118th ave about 1/4 mile, thursday 5-8 about, probably about 40 cars, of all types.
