Default Cheap rear coilovers

79-04 FORD MUSTANG MAXIMUM LAKEWOOD REAR COIL OVER KIT | eBay

A customer called me today and he's running this setup. 1.31 60 foot, LS1 Turbo Notch, 9.12 148

Anyone ever tried this, vs the double adjustable setup 700+

I have the same kit on my car, well from upr, not a drag situation but I love it. Car handles great and would not hesitate to run them on the coupe I'm building now.

They only fit the CE and Lakewood shocks.

They will fit other shocks if you drill the spot welds on the piece on top of the shock and remove it.

have read that you also need to reinforce the top shock mount (the body part) as it was never designed to have body weight on it. Some guys just weld a reinforcement plate on top
