I seen several powder coat the valve covers and timing covers to match, looks pretty good. Wash with soap and water in a few seconds verses hours of polishing to maintain appearence.

I just checked sears website and they carry it all!! And iam sure Northen tools may have it as well...

Actually Craftsman sells a Polishing kit that comes with..and i quote..

"3 buffing wheels For use in all drill chucks and flexible shafts. Emery Cake (black); for heavy cutting action for rust and scale removal from cast iron. White Rouge; for stainless steel, cast brass, and aluminum, chrome, and nickel-plated metals and other hard ferrous metals. Red Rouge; for bright luster on silver plate, gold, sterling, and other precious metals. Tripoli (brown); for buffing aluminum, pewter, brass, copper, wood, bone, plastics, and painted surfaces." All for the Amazing price of 9.99! Looks like iam going to sears tomorrow. But i need to make sure to only bring 9.99 plus tax with me cause i spend every penny i have to my name when i walk foot in the craftsman section!! lol

But thx again tommy!

I think I may End up powder coating the timing cover just because of the amout of time it will take to polish...I may powder coat the valve covers as well... But when i polish i always use a sealer and once week i hit up my polished item with some mothers for 5 mins or so just to keep that shine tip top!

But with the Plenum and Tbody polished to a mirror finish and the valve covers and timing cover powder coated (maybe a black finish) I think it will look bad ass!!

Appreciate the input tommy! Thx again! ...lol
