You can do it...but ripping into a brand new set of $400 HID's just doesn't sit too well with me. A couple years ago, Craig and I ripped apart my last set of stock headlights to do the "SVT treatment" well before the idea of the SVT was even concieved. I had issues with condensation no matter how well I sealed those suckers up.
