1983-93 Mustang 5.0L Carbureted Timing Cover difference?

Anyone know the difference between the timing cover for EFI motors and Carbureted motors? They look the same to me and they say you dont need a special water pump gasket..

Only differences that matters if you are running a mechanical pump, the FI one doesnt have the fuel pump provision
