Another Euro Ford Coming To The U.S.
Nothing sexy here, just trying to keep everyone up to speed. 
Mercury will import to the U.S, a version of the European Ford Mondeo.
There will be a 4cyl. and a V6. And 2 trims. Bothe the sedan and the wagon will be offered.
These pictures are of the American version being tested in Japan, around the Mazda studios. No official name yet.

It is larger than the Contour. Same platform, but bigger car. This is the exact same platform as the new Jag X-type...which means this car will probably have AWD. 
I'm hoping the hi-po version of the Mondeo will make it over here. I think it is called the ST200 or ST2something...like the ST170 Focus (aka the SVT Focus in europe), this version of the Mondeo features 200something horsepower, improved suspension, improved interior, etc. I guess it is like the SVT Contour, only more refined and not a piece of shit.
