Default Header clearance problems...Any ideas?

Just put on LT's and the right side is hitting the unibody. The headers are jet coated and I was wondering if I can heat up the header that's hitting and bend it alittle. My concern is that since it's coated I might take the finish off. Anyone have any ideas? And to think I said I'll never do header install on a modular car again. That was a crock. -Mark

it's called a hammer!!!!

lontubes just dont mix well with our cars....

you can prolly bend it, but i'm gussing you will trash the coating..but i'm not sure.. call the manufacturer and ask them how much heat the coat can withstand...

you'll prolly need to get them over a thousand degrees to bend the way you want

Screw that. Call the manufacturer and ask them why the hell your expensive headers don't fit properly on a care they are supposed to be made for. Manufacturers who half ass a product are ghey.

There actually a decent quality header for the modulars. There Jomars old BBK's. The coating is good. I think if I get the header to glow I might be able to bend it slighty. -Mark
