Ok, I am working out a deal with a guy. I am trading him my highend paintball gun with everything I have for it( paid like 1,200 for everything 4 or 5 yrs ago) for a disassembled 302 from an 88 gt. he said its been apart for maybe 2 months. he said took it to a machine shop to have everything cleaned up. He also told me he didnt take the motor apart. I will be getting block, crank, cam, pistons & rods, heads, front cover, intake, oil pan, vavle covers, i believe most of the front acc and brackets, not sure about injectors, or other small stuff.

Do you guys think I should make the trade?

Also, what should i be looking for to make sure its a 5.0 HO motor, and cam?

i have never played a game with the gun. and no i dont have the cash to go to the junkyard to buy a complete 5.0 from a mustang. the junkyard is 35 min 1 way from me, cant drive there everyday to see if they have one. even if they did it would be half gutted by the time i got there.

i would love to trade the gun and all my stuff for a complete running 302 for my car but have had no luck in like 3 months...


not many people want to trade a motor for a paintball gun. complete or disassembled.

^^^True. Best to sell it to somebody who is nuts over paintball and will give you a good price for it. Then go buy a motor from someone that you can count on who has a good one. Then pocket the leftover cash from the paintball.

Dude, I forgot the website I put my paintball gun on. But it sold quick! Just check around online. Forums should pop up! Also try eBay too! Check to see what your combo runs Now though. If it's not a ion, angel, dye, etc you will be hard pressed if it's your run at the mill Tippman! (if you asking alot for it)

it not a tippman or any cheap paintball gun. i paid over 1,100 almost 1,200 dollars for it. its made by smarts parts. its a ultimate freak factory impulse. black to green anodized fade, vision, the works. im thinking i might be able to get like 400 for it with everything that i have maybe. have seen just the gun itself nothing else sell for 175.

Hell no. ^ I have a 302 block you can have for free. Dude, 302s are dime s dozen. Plus oh have no idea what you are getting. If you heard it run then maybe.
