Default Replacing seat foam in a fox

My 18y/o Mustang's driver seat feels like a marshmellow. And I sit all crooked in it with springs poking me in the ass.
I'm planning on buying new seat inner foam and doing the job myself.

1992-93 Mustang Seat Foam For Sport Seats Without Knee Bolster by TMI at LRS - Same Day Shipping!

It doesn't look too difficult of a job. Has anyone done this? How hard/easy a job was it? Any pointers? Pics?
thanks, Ben

Pay real close attention when you take the covers off. There are steel spines in certain areas and hog rings are used to hold things in place. You'll need to get you some hog ring pliers and some hog rings to put it all back together.

There is a good thread on www.foureyedp.com ride about replacing you own seat covers...this would be the same thing. Do a search for it in the Body Shop/Interior forum

nah man...I want my fronts to match my back seats. I don't want some ricer looking front seats with stock seatbelts. That'd be lame. I just want it clean and stock looking inside.

Was thinking about possibly replacing the '93 puney headrests with the larger better looking ones that tilted from '87-'89 or maybe the older '85-'86 style ones that have the cut-out. Anyone know if thats a direct fit to the stock LX 5.0 seats from '93?

Yes, the halo headrests fit the later fox seats. You may have to remove the little plastic trim sleeve that the flat bar slides into but they fit nicely. I may have an extra set of halo's lying around.
