We are not going back to John, is pretty much the issue. I am waiting to see when the shop that I am setting it up with is in full gear.

That sucks. I'm pretty well done with mods and was looking forward to dynoing on the same dyno for result consistency...

Well I posted before that we may change what shop and asked people to speak up if they had any objections to this. Nobody said anything. To those of you that still want to go to John's shop go right ahead I will take you off the list for the new dyno day.

Bottom line is that I am pretty pissed at John about the entire last minute change, and the entire time going back and forth trying to get a day locked in. I just tried to be nice about it on the board so I didn't really bash anybody. But after him being a straight up dick, I say fuck that I am not taking my car there, or will not head up a dyno day that is held there.

And the shop is owned by someone on this board named Sam (Vennom 99), he was at both track days running his cobra. He is starting his dyno shop up and after talking to him a few times he is one of the few people I would trust my car with on the dyno with out me running it.

Well, I'll agree that I've had mixed experiences with John. Last time I went to dyno, I had a 6:30 appointment. John doesn't show up until 7 and then spends the next two hours ranting and raving about some guy being an ass and yelling at someone on his cell phone. I honestly thought the only reason I got to dyno that night was because his cell battery died.

That said, other than the fact that all of my baselines were don't at SS, I'm all for another shop if they're friendly to us and punctual. Maybe I'll just get another dyno at SS and one at the new shop so I've got baselines of the car in the same state on both.
