Maybe if I was younger I'd be more into the modern look,.. but I'm older and my wife and I both really dig Lemans stripes when done right. Not definite on the stripes. But it is something that we both really like. I'm not the kind of person who cares what other people think. No offense. Not building the car to be popular to sell. This is my keeper. I'll still have this car 10 years from now.

Thats why I played around with the color choices on it. Going to get 351Coupe to paint my car in Jan. Talked with him a bit on the phone. I'm still hunting idea's. I'm too whimsical to stay with one idea right now. He suggested to me the Burnt Orange with Titanium frost bottom. I searched for hours and couldnt find any pics of that color combo online. So I'm pretty sure if a did that color combo there wont be another one like it in the Tampa area. I was really leaning hard on that color and then my wife showed me that white car with the silver flames,.. and I'm really digging tht car too. But not sure if Bryan can paint flames or not. And how much extra it would be to do it.
If you guys come across any cool looking cars post em up. I'm still open for ideas. Paint,. wheels,.. hoods,.. anything. I'm like a kid in a candy store right now.

You've never met me.
But I'm borderline redneck. I've worked construction my whole life. I dip snuff and spit into a cup with tissue paper at the bottom . I wear old jeans and tee shirts most of the time.
But on the opposite end of the spectrum,.. I'm into techno/house music, I like my music loud with a lot of bass. I'm into all kinds of electronics, home theater setups, I'm upgrading or rebuilding my computer every 6 months with top of the line hardware. My son loves it because he gets all my hand-me-downs to upgrade his computer. I'm in school now learning programming and computer security and forensics. My wife calls me a techno redneck.
I'll be 45 in Jan. I was in my late teens and early 20's when Fox cars were brand new. My first brand new car was a 1989 Mineral grey GT. I've also own a 1969 Shelby GT500 and a 1969 428 Mach 1 R code car. (Dual carbs and the 4.30 gear 9 inch rear and factory roll bar with harness straps.)
To me stripes are just the boy racer look. I dont know how stripes and rednecks got associated together. Maybe all the rednecks doing crappy vinyl stripes set too far apart or too thin. I still like stripes.
Same car as the red one,.. but I changed the color to this electric blue. My wife really likes the Iroc blue. I wanted to see how it would look. I tried to get it into a metallic grey,.. but it didnt come out so good.

.
Something like this,.. but the stripes need a thin pin strip on the outter edges to finish them off. I wouldnt do the side strip with strips down the middle of the car. And definitely not that hood or front bumper cover either. The most I change on my car is the hood. I think the stock body lines are fine. I'm into the boxy edgy look. It screams "my generation".
