alright i got a '90 crown vic 5.0 i was cruisin around the other day and for lack of a better way to explain it, it just stalled no CEL or anything. And it wouldnt start back up for about 20 minutes i proceeded to check the fluids and top off the coolant but the same problem happened a couple more times later that day. im not totally sure what the issue is with it, but i did notice that my fuel pump was making an odd noise could it be going out?

Check fuel pressure when having the issues, sounds like the pump is getting hot and dropping out on you

 

possibly ignition switch. $10.79 at advance auto
or even TFI module on the distributor. when they start goin bad the car will just die when it gets hot enough.
