Can I borrow a stock axle?

The rear is in my car now, but unfortunately I'll need to use the axles from the 7.5 in the 8.8 when I put it in. Sorry

i have a set of stock axles from an 88GT in my laundry room (one is bent at the flange, other is straight). if you still need one let me know.

does anyone know for sure that the stock axles from a 8.8 are the same for a 7.5? I can't find it anywhere I'm gonna post it on corral.net

yes, they are the same. Have you ever heard of converting to 5 lug drums on a mustang using ranger parts? Well, the only way that works is with a 7.5 inch ranger rear, because the 8.8's are wider (newer body style trucks). Yes, they are the same.
