Default New Suspension coming.....

I've ordered the MM coilover (front and rear) kit with bilsteins and a strut tower brace.

400 lb-in springs up front (which equates to roughly a 360 lb-in wheel rate or 1440lb-in spring in the stock location). Ride should be firm but near stock quality due to the reduction in NVH gained by coilovers vs the stock perches.

Do you plan on eventually installing a tubular K-member or a-arms?

Probably not. I know the K-Member would knock me out of SM, I thnk the A-arms would as well. For the time being I would really prefer to stay in SM as CP doesn't greatly interest me. It's really for race prepped lightened cars and the mods in that class tend to make the cars unfriendly for street driving. (not that a kmember adn a arms would do that alone, but you get the drift).

I'd really like to find out whether or not tubular A-arms will knock someone out of SM. I am considering the tubular front a-arms for my Focus as more of a safety issue than a performance item. Sure it will allow me full adjustability of my caster/camber...but it will also get rid of the stock units which have been failing on some Foci.
